Health at Every Size® practice and evidence for weight inclusive approaches to health care are dynamic and evolving. HAES specific continuing professional development (CPD) is required to ensure that HAES Australia Verified Providers meet the needs of clients using evidence-based, best practice approaches. The HAES Australia Verified Provider guidelines have been developed to maintain standards of practice, to build capacity within HAES Australia membership and extend HAES® to the broader community.

Size Inclusive Health Australia accepts a broad range of activities as CPD for Size Inclusive Health Australia Verified Providers:
- Reading journal articles in a journal club or independently.
- Developing size-inclusive training or education programs
- Size-inclusive relevant research projects
- Producing size-inclusive resources
- Advocating for weight-neutral care or health policy
- Providing or receiving size-inclusive mentoring or supervision
- Volunteering for Size Inclusive Health Australia
